Russ began his professional career as an auditor for Ernst & Young and uses that financial background to enhance a lifetime of real estate knowledge gained from his father and grandfather. Russ has extensive hospitality development and management experience, including the boutique hotel The Longleaf Hotel & Lounge, the Sheraton Imperial Hotel & Convention Center in Durham, the Marriott Courtyard at Triangle Town Center, the mixed-use development next to the Durham Performing Arts Center that includes the 134-room Aloft.
Russ spends significant time contributing to the community, including current roles as Finance Committee Chair for the Dix Park Conservancy, Raleigh Convention Center Board Member, the NC Restaurant & Lodging Association Board Member and Advisory Board Member for Triangle Family Services.
HENRY WARD
PARTNER
With a background in engineering and corporate law, Henry has built his career in commercial real estate having leased, managed and developed retail, hospitality and mixed-use projects in the Triangle for the last decade. Prior to co-founding LODEN Properties with Russ Jones, Henry was the Chief Operating Officer of York Properties where he led development and acquisition efforts and a seasoned team of real estate professionals managing over 4 million square feet. Some of his experience includes the redevelopment of Gateway Plaza, The Longleaf Hotel, the Target Hillsborough St., 111 Seaboard and the acquisition of the Powerhouse Square.
Henry is active in the community and currently serves on the board of Band Together, a nonprofit organization that uses music to drive social change that has raised over $9 million for our community since inception.
